We'll we made it to Branson. We decided to go see the Titanic museum, it was great, we walked around for about 2 1/2 hours, touched an iceberg and felt the water at the temperature it was when it sank, brr! We will be here until Sunday morning so tomorrow we will take in a show, possibly the Sons of the pioneers which dad would like. I'll write again ...

Last day

Well today was the last day of 6-State. Learned a few things and picked up a few tips. Had some good fellowship and met some new people. Most of the seminars given today were repeats and crafts, so did not attend any. This morning went to breakfast and NOW they have decaf coffee as well as plenty of regular coffee. After breakfast we did some last minute shopping and picked up some odds and ends. One of our members had to leave today, so we wished them a safe trip. He is on his way ...

Patriotic Day

Today was patriotic day and everyone was asked to wear red, white, blue. So here are about 700 people all in various kinds of red, white, and blue. It was all very nice. The day started out with breakfast of pancakes, sausage and scrambled eggs. The pancakes were catered by a place called Chris' Cakes. What he has done is build a rig that pours out four pancakes at a time and is on runners over a large hot griddle so he pours four pancakes then ...

Got up early this morning to go to breakfast with the crowd. They served a breakfast casserole, ham, biscuits with or without gravy, OJ and 1/2 cup of coffee. When people went back for more coffee, they had run out! Can you imagine, about 500 senior citizens and they ran out of coffee! Not sure whose job it was to plan for the beverages, but they did not do a good job. After breakfast, we walked through the vendors again. They have a booth where every day they ...
