... the weather and so far nothing until late tomorrow. By that time we will be safely set-up outside of Hannibal, MO.

Made a short trip to Walmart (after all it's been a couple of days). I've been craving BLT's ever since we bought the Amish bread and fresh tomatoes. After lunch, we drove around Sedalia's Historic Downtown. Not really much to see since everything was closed, even the Welcome Center! Then we drove out to Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site. This family had a ...

... it was just how well the rider handled the horse and followed the commands. All they did was walk around the arena, trot when told, turn when told and stop when told. Mostly we were just there to see the horses. There were some pretty ones. Some with long flowing tails and some had their tails braided. Our GPS doesn't like us and took us on gravel roads because it likes to make us say "I think we could get there by going another way!" Guess if you think miles, then the GPS' fastest route is correct, but when you look at the road and it is gravel and very out in the country, you begin to wonder who mapped the route.

Anyway we eventually found the store. Think it is Mennonite not Amish, but it ...

... some Tylenol for my thumb so I laid down for a little while.

About 3:30 we walked over to the rally area to view the vendor stuff. As we were walking around the road we saw a very large tow truck driving by, apparently at least one person who came in today got stuck when they pulled into their space. I'm glad we came in yesterday so that the only problem we have is water coming in under the slide somewhere. We never have been able to determine ...

... country is still recovering from the last bout of rain.

Drove over Lake Eufaula in East Central OK. This is a very, very large lake which is even larger now with all the rain. I get this weekly newsletter from an RV person in Seattle, WA and last Saturday he wrote about all the campgrounds closed d/t flooding. 6 of them are on Lake Eufaula and now we can attest to that. There were places where earlier the water came right up to the road. Saw part of a boat ...
