One of the things I always wanted to do was to visit the Northeast of Brazil. Every Brazilian knows that this region is probably one of the poorest regions of the country but also one of the prettiest, full of natural beauty, like sand dunes and huge natural lakes. When I arrived in Natal, on route to Macau (RN), it was love at first sight; beautiful sandy beaches, friendly people and wonderful food, it was my ...

I will write about this as soon as it happens Okay I didn't do that much because it rained all the time. In the end we went to the same bar every night. Saw some dolphins while swimming, but too far away to touch, I guess ...

... or James Rodriguez, a kid from Columbia to get the Golden Boot. It was the World Cup where anything was possible and we were there to experience the whole thing! Thank you Brazil! With all bumps and bruises along the way, experiencing the World Cup in Brazil was truly an amazing once in a lifetime experience! I will never forget it! None of us will! The next day we had to say good bye to our friends who were heading home and it was time to leave Natal and head to Rio de ...

... frankly I enjoyed taking time to play in the kitchen. One day, Mark and I hit a local market within walking distance to the house and decide to see what local faire they had. This was another gem of a find because they had and an amazing deli and bakery counter where we got to indulge in all kinds of traditional Brazilian snacks and savory pastries. I had to go back there a couple of times they were so good. Anytime I found delicious food items for cheap, that wasn't fried meat ...
