Bungalows Club Maspalomas Uno

De tijd hier in Las Palmas gebruiken we om de motor zijn broodnodige onderhoud te laten geven en om de voorraden voor de oversteek naar de Carieb in te slaan.
En om de video beelden van Lanzarote te uploaden. Wat beelden uit het National Park en van het begin van de oversteek naar Las Palmas.

... rice with tinned tomato, couscous with tinned tomato...but also lots of other stuff too. Chorizo is going to be in most meals to add a bit of excitment but I´m guessing that I will never want to eat it again by the end of this trip. I have a steak with Roquefort sauce meal planned for halfway as a celebration.We are also hoping to catch some fish on our way...supposedly it is quite easy to catch Tuna and Dorado (?) which ...

Today was the last day and i got up early and went for breakfast then did then got a bus to Maspalomas and walked back to Playa del Ingles.
Had a swim in the sea for the last time which was amazing and then back to the hotel to have a shower and pack our stuff for check out at 12 :-(!!
Our flight wasnt till 6:15pm so we went to the Yumbo centre for a drink ...

Today we decided to get a bus to Las Palmas, the first bus stop was the wrong one so had to walk to another bus stop!!



Got the bus and arrived at the station and realised we had got off a stop to early so had to walk about 2 miles to the next one but had a bit good exercise:-)..

Along the way the man picked up a little shell and gave it to us for some reason then we saw a lizzard running into the bushes.

Then we got the bus back to our hotel and had a little snooze then went out for dinner.

went to a spanish steak house we had seen which always seemed to have
all the locals in it and i order salad for starter and a steak and

... then went and draged josh out of bed and we walked up the beach 5 miles to Maspalomas, i was swimming in the sea most the way and fighting against the waves which were really big and strong and kept nearly knocking me over.
Early night tonight then it will be my birthday 2moro :-D hoping to go on some sort of boat trip in the next couple days..

... in Maspalomas and looked about the shops didnt
buy anything though all designer shops and cost bout 60 euros for a
t-shirt.. The temperture is 30 degrees and there is not a cloud in the
sky. Got a bus back to the hotel which was a good price. Then went to
reception and they changed us to the 6th floor with a sea view made so
much difffernce and am so happy now cuz josh has stop being grumpy
about it lol .

I remembered looking at photos of the Canary Islands before I left and I saw one of the beaches had a ton of sand on it. It was hard to judge how much it actually was. They could have been small or very large sand dunes. Turned out they were large. I think they are 8 kilometers across and 1 kilometer deep before you reach the water ...

O destino não foi muito original, confesso.
Passado um ano da nossa viagem de finalistas, e como já vos contei, nunca mais nos largarmos, e depois de muita teimosia.. lá começámos a namorar. E já lá vão quase 4 anos.

 No verão seguinte.. 2006, portanto. Eu como sempre fui passar férias com os meus pais a Gran Canaria, mas desta vez com uma nova "aquisição".

... foi sem mais nem menos, quando nos conhecemos.
 

Viagem de finalistas, Março de 2005.
Como todos sabem, a viagens de finalistas de 12º ano das escolas da Madeira, é sempre em Gran Canaria. Mais propriamente Playa del Ingles. (Apesar de termos ficado instalados no fantástico Marbella Golf, que já era mais em Maspalomas do que outra coisa.
 
Foi uma semana de "loucura ...
