Today we went up kitzsteinhorn. We caught 3 cable cars to take us 3029m of the 3203m mountain. Lee and the boys went to play on the ice beach but it was a bit slippery for the girls so we stayed in the dry. Lunch was at the alpincentre 2052m high in a lovely restaurant whilst watching it snow outside.

Went to t trout farm and had a look around but didn't want to to catch them because they were well under legal for NZ. After this the plan was to go paragliding but the weather turned to **** and it got ...

A long flight , adjusted to heat, had a day with two others before the large group arrived from Turkey. Our hotel was within walking distance to the old city and highlights were walking the city walls and a day trip to three islands. Selecting somewhere to eat each night was of great interest Then we went ...

Well the hot weather seems to behind us and we walked in light rain yesterday and today , Not cold but not pleasant once gear gets wet. Yesterday was a bit exciting as we used cable cars to get to Kitzsteinhorn, the highest accessible spot in Austria, the altitude got to me a bit, then once down, did a walk up a canyon on wooden stairway , then around a lake before staggering back to ...

Up early today for a an Amazing drive up into the Austrian alps. We all got pretty excited as we started to spy snow topped mountains and alpine ski resorts etc. We found our hotel - really cute and headed straight out for a drive in the mountains. Kids thought it was awesome and it was breathtakingly beautiful. They had their first touch of snow and made some snow balls. We drove up to a lookout up this steep windy narrow road to get a view ...
