Today I took a day trip to a couple of little villages, heidiland and Liechtenstein - a small country that is between Switzerland and Austria. It was a very nice tour and we passed through lots of farm land. The farms are all cute and old and tiny and they were smelly because everyone was spreading manure ...

... past the ice castle. It felt so easy now, and it’s hard to believe I was so nervous beforehand.

The slope was starting to shut down and the lifts stopped so we caught a bus back to Pontresina. The boys fortunately jumped on the same bus near St Moritz. chasing slowly after the puck was a good incentive.

Brigitte rushed off to do a few errands and Joel and I continued for a bit ...

... which not only bruised my inner thigh but my pride too. It was a really fun run though with lots of fun corners, steep slopes to get a bit of speed then gradual ones to relax on. The last 2 km goes through the forest which was a great feeling also. After 2 runs, Brigitte had to leave us, but Joel and I did a further two more runs. Joel took to holding the front of my sled to guide me and help me turn as my sled wasn’t as responsive as ...
