      Again tense changes due to writing en route

      Well, sort of. Day 1 is really a "get everyone in one place day. So we were taken to possibly the biggest hotel Ive ever stayed in in my life, in samarinda. The group are incredibly nice yet quite quiet at the moment. Its amazing how much cultural differences act as language barrier to communication.       Left by bus. 3 hours bumpy squashed hot. Arrived kota bangun and took ces/longtail further to Maura Muntai. Brad did well with Indonesian in getting a ces for next day organised. Without him would have been lost.

      Weekend has come and it's time to go Samarinda. A town which can be reached in 3 hours by bus from Balikpapan. I and my friend go by Angkot (public transport with maximum capacity 7 people) to Batu Ampar bus terminal. Public transport in Balikpapan which called by Angkot run so fast. So, it's not recommended for new comers who phobia with speed. It's high season in Samarinda since there is Erau Festival ...

      this was the shortest meeting i ever had for long way trip i have been done..

      Fly at 7 am from jakarta and arrived at Samarinda at 3 pm, and start meeting at 4 pm, finished meeting at 6 pm, then having dinner, back to hotel and sleep for departed back to Jakarta next day at the morning..
