... and a great bike shop. He arranges mountain bike tours amongst other things : zsolt@rockmachıne.ro Having had a fair few scary moments with dogs which absolutely detest bicyclesÂ İ thought it a wise investment to purchase a high-powered, high-pitched anti-dog gizmo. Indeed the dazzer seems to have some deterrent effect on some dogs. Unfortunately the truly vicious ones seem little bothered, that or they spent their ...
Constanza, Constanţa, Romania jimmymacfad... booking so that was our first priority. We found one fairly soon which is fairly new and not too far from the sights. Unfortunately the sights are pretty ordinary with only a few interesting buildings. Constanta has a huge port but it did not seem to be very busy. The city seems very run down and neglected and in also fairly expensive for accommodation. It is right on the ocean and there is quite a large beach (not very picturesque though) near our hotel.
Constanta, Romania souter... hit the road so we got on our way and headed to Bran to see the highlight of our trip, Dracula's Castle! Actually it wasn't that exciting once we were inside because it is quite sparse, but it was still really cool to see the inspiring castle and to read about the history of the castle. And it is still a castle so I enjoyed the visit there.

From Bran we back-tracked a bit and went over to a small town called Harman to see a fortified church ...
Mamaia, Romania travelingdiva... everywhere walking around after money, turks all over the place, people spitting all over the ground. So i enquired at the bus station for the next bus to Varna, it was in about 4 hours time. Being reluctant to leave my luggage behind and not wanting twheel it everywhere I just sat down and made myself comfortable. Finally the 4 ...
Constanta, Romania scottik38... out and blow it up, so we had a nice dinner and I hit the rack early. We did get some mititei, which is my favorite Romanian food...little lamb, pork and beef sausages with no skins, grilled over an open flame. German sausage pales in comparison. Starting to drag a little now...something like 11 cities in 15 days... The Black Sea is beautiful and the resorts are ...
Constanta, Romania kenpeterson... Cyganie. W Mamai spalismy kolo fabryki ryb. Nocleg zalatwila Zajac, ktora odnalazla niejaka pania Emilie, przypadkowo poznana przed rokiem. To ona udostepnila nam spory kawalek trawnika, za zamknieta brama, tuz przy plazy. Wial straszny wiatr i wygladalo na to, ze bedzie padac, wiec solidnie postawilismy nasze namioty. Wynieslismy sie z naszego "pastwiska" o 8mej rano i wsiedlismy w autobus do Constanzy. Bagaze pozwolono nam zostawic w muzeum, po zakupie biletu - za ...
Constanta, Constanta, Romania bogna... markets and rides. You can compare it to Thredbo (where everything is alive in winter) but here it is the case in summer. It was some experience. So after going to sleep around 1am on Sunday morning, then waking up at 4 to leave for seaside, we were totally wasted and went to bed about 11pm. On Monday we caught up with some friends from Roxy's home town. We were together at the beach. It was pretty much a bludge day where we lazed around. Here we ...
Constanta, Romania rvs... to show us the way to the bus stop!!!! I thought how the hell did he get here? Anyway we walked back towards the bus and he followed and there were the same guys from the police car asking us if he was bothering us. We said "no" and they started asking us!! for ID and to empty our pockets, asking if we had cocaine etc. Wondering whether these guys were legit or not we decided to conform and they took our money ...
Constanta, Romania costa07... things into words, and this bloody hangover isn't exactly helping, so I'll give this a go. Think back to an experience which turly stirred your blood, which caused you to question and reflect upon everything you ever thought you believed, which offered some precious clarity and clairvoyance into the massive web of life found in this world, your place in it, and at the moment of climax, the feint whisper of a better tomorrow and a better future. Deep ****, I know. But I ...
Constanta, Romania papapeta33Well, there isn't much to say about Romania. There also wasn't much for us to do. So what we did end up doing is just headed to the beach on the Black Sea, and snap a photo or two. Constanta was kinda odd, it seemed like it was trying to fit into the rest of Europe, but wasn't doing too good of a job at it.
