... disappointing, it was certainly windy but nothing spectacular. However, the final 30km blew us away, as the highway rounded the mountain top and the sheer cliffs and amazing views began. Agreeing with Top Gear, I would say that this is indeed the best road that I have ever driven. Our journey ended in Sibiu, with a walk around the Old Town and a much deserved healthy portion of Romanian dinner after over 7 hours if treacherous ...

okay so where are we? ah yes, Sibiu, a small town in Central Romania. what can I tell you about it? not a lot. In fact, probably about as much as the hostel owner told me, nothing. on arrival I was taken into a cafe/bar and had to fill out a form. pretty standard procedure, expect they normally fill the form out for you.
