... Pour terminer, et ça je crois que c'est le plus grandiose, nous sommes arrivés en barque en pleine nuit pour rejoindre notre Guesthouse!! Avec nos lourdes valises sur la barque...on apercevait les cocotiers, c'était magnifique! Nous voici maintenant à Allepey: ville moyenne du Kerala (pays de la noix de coco) et entourées de canaux qu'on appelle ici Backwaters. Vivement demain qu'on puisse les découvrir de jour!

One not so fine day
... have also seen bags of, presumably, trash tied up in some trees. There is one type of tree in India that has great vines that hang from the limbs and sometimes reach all the way down to the earth. It is always these vines that I see bags tied to and I could not for the life of me think of a reason to tie excess trash to a tree.
