... about to deploy in the navy. They sat with us a drank and talked, it was good to talk to some nice Americans, Reece was a little full on at times and liked to talk about himself but for the most part he was a good guy. Once we got hungry we freshened up and headed into Gaslamp district for dinner. Chips drove us in, we found an Italian restaurant that seemed to be good and sat outside as it was a nice night. San Diego has been a favorite destination of ours for some time. I have been there once. Jeremy has been there a few times. The weather of course is beautiful, but the vibe in San Diego is what makes it so great. The city brims with arts and culture at all levels. It's full of parks and outdoor recreation, and its close to the beach. What more can you ask for?
