Day : Mexico > Malibu

We woke up to King Blues at about 7:45 but Ryan had a shower and it wasn't until about 8:30 that I got up and went in the shower. We packed up and checked out at about 9:20. We drove to old town, parked, and went to the old town transit centre where we bought a drink and asked about how we would get to Mexico. The answer was to get a travel card for $5 and travel down the green and blue lines to the end of the line to the border. We got out and followed ...

Riding 101 there are still traffic lights, but serval times it swoops down into coves by the ocean providing beautiful views and relief from a cooling affect. This section of 101 came to an abrupt end at the town of Oceanside I thought it must be time for lunch. I had been riding for three hours and covered 79 km - you do the math (okay, average 26.3 kph). I found a treed parking lot ...

... and it
was too expensive to replace so they left it.
I never knew that!

From there we went to look along
the streets of Hollywood stars, unfortunately now buses are not allowed in the
streets so that was a non event, so now onto Rodeo Drive. Oh my, is it ‘out there’ YES, over the top
‘YES’, we went for a walkabout. No price
tags always means expensive? The only
price tag I found was in a jewellery ...
