Rebeca, all of 17 years old, has a 3 year old and a 1 year old, so came to help with her mother - but was also looking after the kids. More info on our family can be found at www.ywamsandiegobaja.org . Screpnechuck Orange was our team (Ramos Rea family).

The grandfather commented, "How amazing is it that these children have roots throughout England, Russia, and look the way they do - as well as strong roots in Africa?" Oh, I forgot to mention this man is Black. He has these beautiful newborn - "white" - grandchildren. He was just off a stay in New Jersey, a two week trip from San Diego, and was in the TJ airport waiting for a flight ...

... Julia, Luke and Allie. Allie had just turned 6 the day before. Julia was into rainbow bracelets and was nice enough to make me one. Remember, I ONLY have boy grandchildren. I was thrilled!

Once we left their home, we headed to La Jolla to see the seals, but since it was a four day weekend, there wasn't a parking space to be had anywhere near, so we ended up heading home.

All in all it was a nice weekend.
