... helped out. Alexis was working that day (deliverying propane), so came by on his break. Rebeca, all of 17 years old, has a 3 year old and a 1 year old, so came to help with her mother - but was also looking after the kids. ... to go on my own so I will wait for the weekend to hang out with my cousins and see if we venture there for a bit.

Our last stop was as we call it in spanish: "Donde empieza la patria". The place is actually called "Playas de Tijuana" and it is where Mexico begins. This place turned out to be, for me at least, an awesome suprise.

... that the Guinness here is a 9.8 (it's actually a 10 but figure there must be something they can do improve on the pour - not sure what though) when I inquired on their Processes I was told they clean their lines each week and never pour anything thru the Guinness lines but Guinness. The grandfather commented, "How amazing is it that these children have roots throughout England, Russia, and look the way they do - as well as strong roots in Africa?" ... and bought a jump on, jump off day pass on the Old Town trolley that does the circuit around all the major attractions. It is the touristy thing which gives you all the information you need in a short time, plus a bit of independence to get off and stroll around on your own. It's good fun too, as the drivers were a funny bunch, telling stories about their hometown with good humour.

We found the city had a few similarities to Sydney with a natural harbour, nice beaches, ...
