... jumping over huge puddles in the sunshine to make it to the doors before we all (and the camera) got soaked. We bought tickets in the center (which is a HUGE building filled with restaurants, souvenir shops and ticket booths) for the “Journey Behind the Falls” for, yep, $40 and proceeded down some stairs where we got another disposable rain jacket and waited in line to get on an elevator that would take us 150 feet down to a tunnel that has two portals ...
... the Falls. Then we headed to Margaritaville and had a blast there for dinner. A lady on stilts made balloon hats for all of us. Uncle Rod got a devil horn hat - which was appropriate, Dad got 'hair', Mom got a butterfly hat, I got a Halo - we all know that is appropriate, and Wendi got the special - 'Roadrunner' hat. After we left there, we went back to the Falls to see them lit up at night. They changed colors. It was awesome.
Back to the hotel for a good night's ...
