Jump on the local bus to the station and leave my bag for the day and set off to explore Pilatus Kulm mountain range ...jump on another local bus to Kriens ...well that's where I thought I got the cable car ...cause that what they told me at reception when I bought my round trip ticket ...lucky I asked someone ...its the stop before Kriens ...great !! Anyway I'm off and jump in the cable car and we keep doing up up ...and up the first place has magic views ...

... 30 minutes by train from Lucerne. This was recommended to us by a girl at the tourist bureau. Again we took our lunch and sat by the lake and admired all the scenery and strolled through the village. We returned to Lucerne about 4.00 pm had a few drinks at our hotel followed by freshly prepared cold meat and salad for tea. It was then off for an early night to prepare for tomorrow's journey to Basel.
