We had our last view of the 'Strip' from our bedroom window on the 15th floor of the Tropicana, looking over to the brightly painted towers of the 'Excalibur', and other enormous venues e.g. MGM centre plus the 7 lane, in each direction, Las Vagas Boulevard, which was busy all day and all night.

In and out of luck.... in Las Vegas!
We had a bit of a slow start this morning as we spent some time updating the blog, however we left the hotel at 9.30 and bumped into a man called Jake, The Tropicana tour advisor who suggested we go to breakfast at Coco for $4.99 each. And very good it was too and frequented by many locals.

Amazing Las Vegas
After a long day of airports and flying AA we arrived in Las Vegas. After booking into the
tropicana we couldn't resist an evening stroll around, a short distance from the hotel followed by an early night. Tomorrow will be Vegas Day!
Day of contrasts, Zion to Vegas
... is no good as I've already got them! The exact same stock, couldn't believe it. Went back via the Bellagio and got a pass for the nightclub in the evening.
Took the wrong bus back to the hostel and ended up in the arts district - which was a stroke of luck as it was the monthly 'First Friday' festival and thousands of people checking out paintings an gifts and live music etc.

Leaving Las Vegas
Arrived in Las Vegas via a touchdown in Orange County. Eventually got to the Hotel at about 4:30pm. Met Jason in the lobby while I was checking in. Took a while to find my reservation as they had me listed as first name Wassell. Quick shower and change then hit the strip, you can guess the rest.
