    ... Our last stop was to Goldfield Ghost Town.  Goldfield was created by the discovery of gold in the area in 1892.  The town grew to population of 4,000. By late 1897 the gold mines had played out and the people moved out leaving a ghost town.  Several years later when the mines were opened a mill and cynaide plant were installed reviving the town.  It was named Youngberg.  The mines once again played out and the town was deserted.  In ...
