... Speaking of the US south, I am sick and tired of CNN yapping about the Confederate flag.

Down to E71 gate area to chill, literally. Boarded eventually and into seat 35A. Not as nice flying out at night re the view. Thought it was dumb re a meal after midnight but hungry so had the [macaroni and cheese] pasta and a rum and coke. The AC music offerings are the *****.

My hopeless attempt at some sleep ...

A so so sleep at best with a damn duvet and the a/c set fairly low. Got up c 0615 for ablutions and down for a full English brekkie of eggs, bacon, sausage, a rasher, tomatoes, beans and mushrooms. Suggested to Roddy either the Caucasus trip for next July or Columbia in the first quarter of '16. Told him also to keep his job as money however boringly earned makes the world go round.

He was off on the 0743 ...

Left this morning tears, laughter and good will was had by all the borders to Australia are open to all please, please come down under so we can repay your hospitality! At the motel at the moment to fly to LA boo! Well we hope to post again from the USA but if we can't Bon voyage from us and once again a huge thank you from the O'Brien's + Frances. Hope all at home are going well and please see if you can get the weather to turn the heat back ...
