After leaving Ohio the weather warmed and the sun shown. Lots of construction on I-70. It was a long day. Tomorrow we cross Oklahoma. We plan on arriving in San Diego on mid-day Saturday.

Beth is backpacking with a friend in Northern California and visiting Big Sur one more time before moving to Colorado. She is a busy girl!

... rest stops confirmed that the farmers alternate years for the corn and soybean fields because the soybeans sequester nitrogen in the soil. I wondered if the seeds for all these fields of identical crops were GMO Monsanto seeds.??

genuinely love circus and go out of their way to support circus. Tom took
photos during the second show and said he’ll have prints for us later on down
the road, which I’m really excited about. Thank you guys and thanks for making
a couple of circus newbies feel like we know what we’re doing…haha.

We left the last homely home and were heading into the misty mountains. Bilbo looked really scared, but so did I. We knew of the troubles of the Misty Mountains but t didn't phase us. At night, a huge thunderstorm came and we needed shelter. Some of the other dwarves looked for a cave and found one suitable for sleeping. We were all sleeping when all of ...
