... an easy drive! It rained all the time and at times it was coming down so hard we had to slow way down to see the road! We saw more lightning and heard more thunder in a day than we've seen in years in SD!

When we arrived at the park, someone in a fancy RV was stuck in the mud on the median! They were going to need a truck to pull them out ...

... the A1A. The 95 is the interstate and filled with tolls and boring driving. The 1 is nice but mostly goes through the town strips so pretty much Wal-Marts and McDonalds and Starbucks everywhere. The A1A on the other hand is where you get the nice views. It's a slow drive but that’s a good thing as you get a chance to look at the beaches and all the humungous houses that line the coast. ... back to the hotel, so we ordered drinks and sat out by the pool. We hadn't been there that long but could see thick black clouds starting to roll in from the sea in our direction. We moved to the covered area just as the rain started. Some woman was telling us about a white sports car stuck in the sand. But it wasn't the only car having trouble. ... I have been upgraded. Ok, better be good. The hotel looks dated but seems situated on the beach. And it definitely was an upgrade. Though I have no idea what my room was suppose to be, I had a 6th story room with a full beach view, the room was large with a kitchen. I walked out onto the balcony, it was too dark to see, but I could clearly hear the ocean. I prodded the spring loaded door open with a chair and settled in for bed.
