I have not been to Lake Tahoe for over 10 years and I am still at awe how beautiful the Lake was.
We did a scenic tour to Emerald Bay and the views is breathtaking. I can stay there all day just enjoying the God Creation.
... handy even though we only had overnight bags with us, not our full set of luggage. The hotel was really cute; modern and with a real natural feel, and even though we arrived early, we were still able to check in and grab a room. We left our bags in the room, and then went for a walk down the main street around us to find some lunch. We found a cute little cafe that did some really nice sandwiches and that was cheap as well - always a plus.

... br> We are off to Lake Tahoe today which is just an hour or so outside Reno and as it turns out is the perfect location to take a convertible. The car has two issues and two plusses. The two issues are things I’ve never encountered before, it’s speed is restricted to 80mph and its sound system is restricted to a certain volume level. The plusses are it has a 3.7 litre engine and the ******* roof comes off.

We stopped in Tahoe City and had lunch in Rosie’s Cafe. The food was great and the ambience was very alpine with the addition of stuffed mooses on the wall. There was an upstairs with air hockey and some other games for the kids. Rosie had "chicken-fried-steak" a standard fare item.
