As soon as we got up in the morning around 8AM we started to pack up camp because check out was at noon. We wanted to get a move on if we were going to explore. Once we checked out we headed north on the eastern said of Lake Tahoe. We got into Tahoe City and where we parked the mini van. The drive was okay - slightly stressful ...

We opted for take out pizza for tea which we would take to the nearby beach and watch the sunset. The drive was a bit of a stress for some reason, the pizza place was in a retail park which I missed a couple of ...

... looming, but the rest of the shoreline is more small communities like Lakeside and Somers. If I had to make a choice, I'd take Flathead Lake, but we didn't get off the main highway to make a fair comparison.

Farther east, the desert flattens out through Carson City and into Silver Springs, Nevada, where reside our good friends and ex-neighbors from Ferndale, Bob and Joy. Bob was my hunting partner/mentor and we ...
