After arriving at 620am in LA, Customs in LA was the usual slow affair, although they now let people who have been to the USA before on their current passport and are from countries like Australia have a more electronic version like Australia. However, as we had to get new passports this year, we did not qualify. We will next time. We walked around to Terminal 5 which took about 10 minutes and checked in for our flight to Portland. ... morning to Las Vegas and be attending NAB till Wednesday night. This is such an awesome opportunity! It's like the Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles auto shows combined and instead of cars, all the biggest names in cameras, lighting, sound, and anything else related to broadcasting are gathered to show off their new stuff. So, some 4 hours after landing, we arrive at our house in Huntington Beach and what a place - 4 blocks from the beach, a double bed for everyone, a fire pit outside and a full size pool table in the living area. After some chill time, we head into town for a burger and a drink at 25 degrees - delicious and pretty sensible portions for US standards.
And then to bed for the first time in our 43 hour day!
