... and then all of a sudden we dropped. I squealed in terror as the elevator free-fell down the abandoned shaft then unexpectedly changed direction and hurtled back up the hotel. It continued to go up and down so fast I couldn't keep track of what was happening.

The Blue Bayou is within the pirates of the Caribbean ride. It is in perpetual twilight and is situated on the edge of a "bayou" with frog songs and jumping fish.
