... is very rugged much like Oregon you cannot get a clear view without stopping. The coastal road was also very twisty and bendy, I was glad when it was over. Reg- The “ the Cat and Fiddle “ road over the Derbyshire Pennines has got nothing on the road we drove today, I’d have hated to do it in a manual geared car. There was some very ,very tight bends. ... bus around the city & up to the Golden Gate bridge, saw things we would never have seen otherwise. Because it's the weekend it is pretty packed in town. Also the Gay Pride parade is on tomorrow so we'll head in to have a look at that. It starts at 10.30 so will hopefully have a chance to have a look at a few more sights, the queue for the cable cars today was horrendous so will try again first thing in the ...

Made a quick itinerary this morning and headed off to the ferry. It's about a fifteen minute walk so we decided we'd take the car so it would be there when we got back. Unfortunately, our plans went astray a bit when we got to the terminal and the parking lot was full. We were already cutting it close and an extra ten minutes to find a spot and park wasn't planned. We walked very fast from the car and got to the terminal ...
