The second movie in NYC at Times Square, opposite to Regal- where I saw my first movie. A good invitation by Paritosh, finally had the chance and the company to use the discounted ticket I bought from Deloitte market place. Went to see the movie - Interstellar. The day was partly cloudy and cool. We decided just to wander around today, mainly on foot, to enjoy whatever was happening and we found enough purely by chance to have a good day. We left the hotel at 11am and took the subway to Greenwich Village. It's a nice residential area but also has shops and restaurants. We were there a few nights ago but knew that we hadn't been in the heart of it, so we headed for Washington Square. The squares - parks - are nice in New York ...

Darren is doing his best to fit into the hood, he has decided Flannos are no longer cool and has bought a Hoody and now he thinks hes super cool. Problem is the Hoody has New York written on it so I tried to explain he looks more like a tourist. ... how good that cheese on toast was! Next on the list was Doughnut Plant, which specialises in unusual flavourings. I picked the crime brûlée and banana/peanut butter,which were amazing. Dave's coconut lime was also a standout. We then caught a taxi up to Central Park and spent a few hours wondering around and visiting some of the more famous sights there.
