... all look the same anyway, so we didn't see much! Plus it was super foggy so visibility was low. It was b u s y at Penn - one of the main terminals, but somehow we successfully navigated our way right to the station 300 m from our hotel near Times Square - not one turn wrong. ... caught the 18:30 bus at 7th and 42nd and off we went through Downtown over the Manhattan Bridge into Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, along the waterfront (they have built covered jetties that are used as sports fields for soccer and basketball) before returning across the Brooklyn Bridge via Dumbo. ... they raise funds for arts education and run youth internship programs. Kudos to them for their good cause, fantastic slogan and delicious treats. Next stop was Tompkins Square Park which is a 10 acre city park with a dog run, chess boards, handball courts and basketball courts (with a fence of course). The park has a history of revolution, demonstrations, riot and homelessness. And then Union Square...which was ok but I think I was expecting ...

We have come to try and get Broadway tickets at TKTS which is the half-price booth for same-day tickets for Broadway Shows. We have a shortlist and don't have to wait too long in the line before deciding to see "Once". We get great seats and wonder why anyone would pay full-price for any Broadway Show? I guess it depends how badly you want to see ...
