We drove to Phoenix mid-day and checked into the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in the early afternoon. We went to Scottsdale Fashion Square to do some errands. I had a 4:00 PM reservation for the Chihuly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Gardens. It was a stunning display of glass sculptures among the desert plants.
