We were just around the corner from Nickajack Dam so we were into the chamber almost immediately. The lock master was very young, social and pleasant, spending a good deal of time admiring our boat and asking ...

... along the way, including one where I found a home-made book with wood covers titled "Indian Patrol." This book was made by a kid in the mid-fifties and included some newspaper clippings from a Chattanooga newspaper.
