      This was an instance of the accidental tourist. It was nearly noon and we were
      driving thru the Iowa
      farm country. There are no turnpike type rest areas so we exited at the next town
      to find a place to stop and fix lunch. It was like we took the exit to the Netherlands.

      Marilyn & Bob suggested we pay a visit to Pella, IA where there are a number of interesting things to see. We visited the Heritage Museum, which had a Civil War exhibit that was quite interesting and contained some tragic stories about what happened to some of the Iowa recruits.
