We are home, refrig is empty, grass needs mowing but house is perfect thanks to a great house sitter over the past 4 and a half weeks.
Traveled 5838 miles averaged 33.3 MPG. Saw gas prices as low as $1.96 and as high as $2.79 in good old NYS. Our 2 year old Subaru now has over 50,000 miles on it!

Very scenic drive through New York State, heading toward the Adirondacks - the trees are very green but with some fall colours just starting. The campsite is rustic and very quiet, not too busy.
Highlights: Downtown Corning, beautiful town with old buildings and pretty parks
