... rose is in full bloom out in the back garden. Daisy has taken some pictures for me which I will be pleased to see. This is the first year it has really come into bloom since we planted it. It is called Mdme. Alfred Carriere.
Buddy came over and we slow cooked brisket for dinner and then ice cream. A very nice family evening. Another good FT with Mike and Asher up in Boston. It's a wonderful way to keep in touch. ...

Day 9 back on the road (trip ended on Monday, August 4th)

Wow! I wrote this entry on Wednesday (Aug 6th) night and either God or technology was not on my side. I usually write “off line” and the cut and paste onto the blog. That night I wrote in the space allotted and Murphy struck when I hit the wrong key and phpppt it was gone. “Ctrl Z” didn’t help and there was no “Undo” button on the blog site. So I took ...

... us. Apparently I'm in a cynical mood. I'm starving so I was happy to see the Pei Wei sign as an option. I order my usual (honey-seared chicken with brown rice) hoping I won't get a stomach ache after I eat it. I've been dealing with issues for the last week. I collect my food and press onward. We are leaving our winter home in Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. We have been here since Christmas as volunteers doing maintenance and invasive plant removal. This park is a piece on old Florida tucked between the Intracoastal Waterway and A1A Fort Lauderdale Beach. We have met many good people and made some new friends.
