Welp! Travel with today's airline industry means nothing is ever on time. The flight coming from NYC to SYR is delayed. That means we are delayed. Katie and I decided to head down to NYC a night early for this very reason. There is a lot less risk this way -- plus I think we can find something to do while we are in the city. ... common for the weather to be overcast and gloomy. I felt like I was walking around in a black and white set of gloom.

The sun was there, wanting to shine through the cloud cover, but was hidden much of the time. A few times, there were some spots of blue skies amidst the cloud cover, so that was nice.
