A much more reasonable start time of 9am this morning. Kids got chosen to participate in Jedi knight star wars training show which they loved! Got some great photos of them using light sabers to fight dearth vader. I took my first roller coaster ride (a quite tame one... The go go gadget coaster, but all the same I'm proud of myself for being a risk taker!) jazzy and watched the Fantasmic show at 7:30pm which was ...

... to get on this river adventure than I usually would be with wet rides. It was mostly a lot of cruising through power stations and getting squirted by animatronic dinosaurs. But of course it ended with a drop down a river rapid in typical water ride fashion. There was also the "Waterworld" show, a water stunt show. It was exactly the same as the water show at Universal Studios in Osaka - I guess I just waited a year for the English translation!

We then headed over to Fantasyland. This was were all the families with little kids were, plus the 'biljiion' strollers. We end up only going on one ride here, Mr Toad's Wild Ride. This was like the Ghost Train like at the A&P show back at home, but not scary and a bit mor up market! After that we had to get out of Fantasyland just because of the crowds. So where did we go next, Mickey's ...

... story of the nightmare before Christmas. We had only been on the ride two minutes and it broke down… there we sat slightly suspended in our capsule hoping this wasn’t going to be a premature end to the ride. A quick jolt and back to the darkness and excitement of the ride. Our final ride for the day was Splash Mountain. And it was just that. A mountain with a massive splash at the end. Another log flume style ride, you visit brer rabbit and critters country, ...

... to grab some Pizza for dinner and caught a glimpse of the fireworks on the way back to our hotel. They are very clever. Fireworks in the shape of Mickey Mouse's head, Smiley Faces, lots of color and sparkle. All very nice. Exciting to be in Disneyland.

Early night tonight ready for another day at Disneyland tomorrow. Expecting nice weather around 26 degrees. A bit like what you are having in Melbourne I see. Great holiday weather!
