... Anyway, I'll skip the last part of the UK and jump straight into The Netherlands. I'm sitting here at the hostel waiting for my washing to get done. Washing is such a pain when you are travelling. You have to find a laundromat and march up to wherever it is with your big bag of smelly washing. ... kept on driving untill we passed the border with Belgium.

After 10km's in Belgium, we already stopped for some fries, burgers and chicken nuggets. This was our first meal of the day! There we also decided to drive the last 200km's towards our home.

After a journey of 19 days, 4.340km's, we arrived at home at 0.00h. Everybody was very happy to see us comming home safely without any accidents.

... br> Before the concert which was to be our final highlight - Andre op Het Vrijthof - we found the same Greek restaurant where we dined 9 years ago during our first visit to Maastricht. It was lovely to in a sense relive the memory of our previous visit to this charming river city, and be surrounded by the soft Limburgs dialect.

... had left 5 minutes earlier (while we were wandering the streets). So we had an hour to kill. Hot chocolate at a nearby café handled that, with the added bonus of a loo stop for just 50 cents each. Charging for toilets is not something we ever see on our side of the world, but normal here.

It was only at the end of the day when S used the TomTom to locate the car, that we realized it was literally 100 metres down the street. That was a pleasant surprise, ...
