83 mile
Rolling hills, some really quite steep
No real places to eat along way except SAG stops. Cycled with Kettie until rain then some people took cover, I continued so cycled on own until the end.
Chased by dogs. No Veronica about to shout at the dogs. Not impressed
Went for lunch in Kirksville, Gyro mmmm
Dinner-steak and sweet potato fries and salad
Early night

Update - My entire visitor group has left (minus myself and Jake) and I must admit I was depressed and sorry to see them go. That being said, the core group of permanent members has began opening their arms and hearts to the possibility that I may be around, at least a little while. I have moved, temporarily, into Skyhouse Eco Lodge which despite its relatively plain and unimpressive exterior is quite an amazing structure. Constructed in timber frame fashion and insulated with straw ...

So, for several years, Dancing Rabbit Eco Village in Rutledge Missouri has been on my radar.. I've always been very interested in sustainability, permaculture, natural builing, organic food, alternative energy & life styles. As any of you will know, however, I have been on the road & travelling for years now (see my other blogs associated with this one on travelpod) and rarely am stateside. Well, as usual, a last minute decision has lead to my most ...
