... We looked around there for a bit before we ate. We all had something different, but I stuck with their brisket. Fantastic! We even had some left for dinner. Upon returning to town, we stopped at Walmart to walk off lunch. Back at the hotel, we played a full game of dominos. Then split up until morning. The plan is to leave in the morning right after breakfast, so we'll be home mid afternoon. This has been a good couple of days and hopefully mom & dad have made some good ...

Yesterday we drove up to Mineral Wells, TX with mom & dad. The main objective was to visit Clark Gardens. We did accomplish that today, but not as good as I had hoped. Our new Saturday and Sunday show times are 2pm & 5pm (earlier than last season) which means we'll actually have a genuine evening to ourselves twice a week. We are so excited although tonight will probably be spent organizing our receipts for tax purposes. Yay.

Today is Cristian’s birthday…my birthday wish for ...

It is Sunday, March 2, 2014. We spent the night with my mother then loaded to start our first adventure to explore the west side of the United States. As we arrived in the Dallas area we were greeted with an ice storm!! This was a challenge to drive through to arrive at Runaway Bay, Texas. Yes, it slowed us down but it wasn't severe enough that we had to stop as Galen persevered through all the white storm ...
