June 23rd – Day 50



Today we went to Como Zoo and
Conservatory. This is a Zoo open by donations and so you expect it's
sub par but to be honest, I thought it was better than San Diego Zoo
and here's why. Although they don't have the large variety of animals
at San Diego Zoo, the list is still huge including wolves, polar
beer, zebras, 6 different primates, a sea lion show, giraffes ...

... br> The city skyline is seen in the background and the whole area was a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts with people swimming, fishing, paddle boarding, running and cycling. It was about 90 degrees so people were obviously enjoying the summer weather that appears so briefly in these parts.

In winter the same paths are used by people for cross country skiing and on the lakes themselves people ...
