Continuing on the back country roads we crossed over into Kansas. Both Todd and I have already been in this state, but we've never seen this area of the state. There are lots of rolling tumble weeds and they get caught in the roadside fencing.

We also toured the oldest building in Dodge City still on its original site. It is a house built of limestone in the late 1800's. We learned that Dodge ...

... and Richard immediately set to setting up the fine tuning of the rear axle psoition having been too tires the previous night. The car seemed to have run faultlessly all day so we were incredibly grateful to Erwin and Larry for allowing us to continue in the Rally.
