Not much to write about today as this was definitely a driving day. We travel 462 miles to Illinois through some of our country's most valuable farm land. For miles and miles there was nothing but corn with a few soybeans thrown in.
We did stop in Blue Earth, Minnesota to visit with the Jolly Green Giant. In honor of Sturgis Bike Rally ...
... lovely picnic place and had lunch. Lexx and I then threw the rugby ball back and forth for a while and I've gotta say I've gotten pretty good at it. We then jumped back in the van and half an hour down the road we stopped off at a food store and a target to stock up on lunch supplies and to buy warmer clothes. The KOA where we're staying tonight also got torrential rain this morning, and a ...

Ended up meeting them in Bloomington for a pizza dinner and catching up. After, drove to El Paso, their home (and now my home for an undetermined time), for the night. Sonja and I sat up till after 11 talking and sharing. Then we decided we had plenty ...
