... cliff. I actually thought it was kinda fun. In Cabanaconde, there is not much going on. It's really just a jumping off point for people who will spend a few days trekking in the canyon. Mark and I unfortunately don't have time for that. We didn't think we'd have time to see the canyon at all and somehow we've decided to fit it in. I think it was the night buses! When we got to town we were instantly being harassed by some people to buy these boleta touristicas which ...

Route 66 is not one continuous road so we needed to keep our eyes open for the signs. Also the route has 2 different routes from just south of Staunton to Springfield. ... before returning it to it's air-tight chamber for the night. I ate my cantaloupe, but it was less than tasty. It rained so hard, and I was happy to be under a roof. Something was worrying and keeping me from sleeping though. I kept peering out of my tent to see the rain runoff from the roof was pooling at the cement floor edges of my safe pavilion. I hoped that the rain would cease before the pools reached me, and I went to sleep. I woke up at about 3am and reached down ...

... I was having difficulty taking myself to the new house. After we got things moved over - things that Sonja and Nick contributed (bed, chairs and much more), utilizing things in storage at Nick's mom's house and dad's house, other people in the community ready to contribute what they have - I still didn't want to be there.

What I realized is that I really didn't want to be by myself. There was a fear or a block to going ...
