When we arrived back to the campground last night around 11:00 p.m., we discovered that the large party of deaf teenagers (possibly early 20-somethings) who had moved in (with three cars and at least two tents) to the spot next to us, may not have been able to hear, but they could make an enormous amount of noise. They milled around their site screaming at the top of their lungs until well after midnight. They were evidently quite drunk (I heard retching noises ...
... also a train track—quite an active one—about a quarter of a mile from here. There must have been four or five during the night. None of these were unpleasant sounds, however, and we both slept pretty well, not waking until full light around 6:20 this morning.

Aaron joined me by watching me (haha) on the stairs.

The sun shining in through our blinds woke us up fairly early around 7am, so we decided to get up and start our day. We went down and had coffee and cereal, before Dave popped his head out also. We are getting used to be the first ones up now. We had a fairly quiet morning as Kyle being a university student doesn't rise from bed until noon, and Cheryl enjoys sleeping in and wasn’t up until 10am.
A slow start to our day, but ...
