    ... female pilots. I think it's mostly redone, and a lot of the stuff is "from the time period", rather than "hers", but there were a lot of things signed by Amelia, and Charles Lindbergh too, and artefacts like a swimsuit she had as a child. She lived there til she was about 11, and then moved to Des Moines and then Chicago and then all over the place, and my goodness I'm tired. How did she do it.

    ... How Much Farther?, and Headwind Vikings -- but in the end the winning name idea came from Kali with "The 3 Marquardt-eers".

    At SC, it took us awhile to learn how to set up our pop up tents. Our campground was between the Missouri River and I29 near downtown. This was NOT going to be a quiet evening of sleep before Day 1!

    ... Indians. Lewis had known they were being watched and he tried to coax the Indians to sit and exchange gifts and explain their purpose.
    During the Corp's visit to this site Lewis noted that it would make an excellent location for a fort and trading post. The Fort came in 1820 and served the area for 7 years. The replica fort and museum was built on the site and a nice set of statues commemorating the ...

    The South Dakota Badlands are a must see. As you travel the country side the Badlands just appear from nowhere, the landscape give you no idea what's coming. From the top of the Badlands you can see how the hills are eroding as they diminish down into the lower plains.
    The Badlands National Park has a beautiful drive which finishes at the small town of Wall where the now famous "Wall drug store" is. ...
