... Roosevelt didn’t shoot a bear, and a kick **** climbing spot in a canyon.

Another lovely state park campsite (pity the fools at KOA) used the whole day mucking about letting the kids play in the creek and got back on the rope the next day. We had four rafts on our trip, Frank rowing with his wife, Jill as a passenger, Greg rowing with his girlfriend, Wanda as ...

... I spoke to said that the way their accounting is done I'd have to have the people at Florissant take care of it. She gave me a phone number and the title of the person I needed to talk to. I went out to my car and called. I didn't reach the person but I left a message. I went back in and watched their two movies and went through their exhibits.

My call still had not been returned so I called again and ...

... road for miles and miles through nothingness.... Filling up with fuel was a bit of a shock, $180 later we realised we're getting a lot less than 10 mpg.... and a long way to go! We passed through some very odd looking West Colorado towns, with flags flying saying things like "God, Guns and Gold"....probably in that order, nice! ...
