        A splendid nights sleep in our hotel Last night. The Super 8 breakfast was predictable but adequate with cereals, toast waffles, youget, eggs and coffee on offer.
        We get away at 8am as we have nearly 500 miles to do but first a stop in the Everglades and a trip on an air boat. My god I have never seen so many aligators ranging from big beasts to tiny baby ones all nearly within arm's reach (if you dare). There were masses of turtles too, which apparently make a ...

        ... the waiters didn't seem have more than a smattering of English.

        Suitably fortified we retired to bed with the prospect of another long day ahead - a 442 mile journey to New Orleans.

        Apologies for the lack of photos,but I just haven't had the time to upload any as I've been spending eight or nine hours on the bike each day. Will rectify the situation as soon as possible.

        ... to rest at high tide, there is no food for them in here. They also only drink fresh water so this is where they get it. They can get it out in the ocean when it is raining and they just suck the surface water.
