Met up'with a local from Mousehole who told us Marazion and Mousehole are the oldest settlements on the southwest coast. They are well preserved living monuments of a history long past.

Heaced east to Charlestown and walked around this historical sailing boat harbour. Found a wonderful Neptune carved from a huge tree trunk and walked past very old stone church. Cottages here namec after the trade of the owner - Wheelwright, The Cooperage, Cobbler, etc.

... Saw the usual array of farm animals and flocks of swallows sitting huddled together on powerlines in various locations. On to New Polzeath which had a great outlook overlooking the ocean with big waves rollong in towards a sandy beach. Some surfers in the water here.
