... at the end of the steps, but might as well climb the last part. So over the rocks we climb, hands gripping on to grooves and pulling ourselves over gaps. What a rush! Right on top it'd a 360 view of the Li river. It's a pity it's over cast, but oh well. We take selfies and try not to fall, still standing on the pointy rocks.

... Kid pulled my nose and sang me songs, but would give me a high five. Got thrown off the bus at Yangshuo with no idea where we were going or what the hostel was called. Although it was dark, the outline of the karst mountains over the Li River was breathtaking. A hotel visit and 2 awesome McDonalds workers' attempt at a map later, we made it to Yangshuo 11 Hostel at 3am. No rooms available, but showers, a sofa and a pint for a pound felt like ...

... was so so satisfying! After dinner, we finished our beers and then tried to go to the night market. Luckily however we passed the germans on the way and they said that it doesn't exist! So we walked with them back to the hostel, buying some beers on the way. I also found some yummy banana bread in the shape of bananas and finally the dragon balm! I was still recovering from the night before so we hung around for a while before heading to bed early.
