Today we said our goodbyes to family to continue our journey around Europe. We boarded our flight and arrived in Paris this afternoon. We eventually found our accommodation, checked in and sat for about 5 minutes before heading out for some sight seeing. It was getting dark so we decided to see the Eiffel Tower. We took the metro and 20 mins later we alighted nearby. We stopped to order our first French crepe. Nutella and Banana. It was delicious! ...

We spent the morning touring the Chateau. The king and queen have different palaces so we walked through each one. It was very crowded and similar to other palaces we have seen on our European trips. However, it was interesting to see where Marie Antoinette lived after she married Louis XVI of France when she was 14 years old. We toured her childhood home in Vienna and it was impressive as well. The main difference in the two palaces is that the ...

... I got a little burnt as the weather was about 30 and we we're sitting in an open topped bus all day. Mike found cold beer at the supermarket today so he is happy! He also got us home on the metro without any hassle. Dinner in again tonight more baguettes and Camembert and of course beer! To tired to go out, another big day ...
