... The salon air conditioner is working! We still have the fan in the pilothouse, but we can run the boat from inside rather than at the upper station in all of the heat that is going to be coming our way the further South we go.

A beautiful boat pulled out of the marina across from us at one of the casinos and headed into the Atlantic.

Today was an exciting day! We began by driving to Brick Town, New Jersey where Tommy was born and lived until his family moved to South Carolina when he was two. The home on Kettle Creek Drive was built by his father and grandfather right on the waterway. We stopped at the home and Tommy asked the owner if we could walk out back to look at the dock and boats. ... my way back down to AC with Nick for Cody's bachelor weekend along with a bunch of Gups and we had another very entertaining weekend. Highlights included discovering a Jason Aldean/Florida-Georgia Line concert in town and getting tickets as well as an after-midnight dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe afterwards. All in all both trips were lots of fun and we all made a lot of memories ...
