Walked along the sea front to the small town of Stonehaven and looked at the harbour and the sea. Windy but dry and sunny at times. We were so lucky to have dry weather. After coffee, walked back and drove north again. Went in search of Roman ruins at Garrison Hill but could not see them, only identify where they should have been. Drove towards Aberdeen. ... made a few purchases that we will have to find room for somewhere in our ever expanding suitcases! The highlight for Claire and I was of course, Marks and Spencer. Hazell worked with them for a few years, and still gets her staff discount, and was very generous with it today :)

She treated us to lunch, so we all took advantage of another opportunity to have their world famous sandwiches. I don't know what it is about M & S sangas - nothing ...
