    ... to be pretty ordinary, after one tent collapse and the second attempt resulting in our tent resembling in a falling down teepee! Poor British workmanship being the main problem.... Day two was equally as uninteresting a journey as the first day, made a little less tedious by everyone participating in the 'impossible quiz'.     ... of the same stuff. We found out later that the afternoon group doing the walking safari saw 5 tarantulas on their walk, and they showed us some photos. I'm actually a bit gutted we didn't get to see one, even though I would have been terrified. The photos were pretty amazing.
    Day 3 - in the morning we did Piranha fishing. It was pretty fun. We just had bamboo poles and a bug chunk of meat which we cut up for bait. Basically, as soon as you dropped the hook in the water ...

    ... barely moving, not eating. I got lost in my book and also watched one episode of Dexter. Cant wait to sleep!! tomorrow we Travel to the Pantanal at 10am! woohoo! oh and Campo Grande is a nothing town. Just a boring town, with nothing to do, was not impressive and reminded me of the horrid 70s style concrete buildings we get in England. I wouldnt go back there but we had never intended to travel around Campo Grande anyways so its all ...

    ... so we got some good photos of us taken by the guide. After the boat tour we sat around again taking it all in. Only two people exit the cave at once. Using the vertical ropes we came down on you are again harnessed in and a loop is put around your legs. You use your legs to push your self up the rope. It usually takes people about 20 minutes to get out of the cave. We still had a while to wait till we could go up. There were 8 people ahead of us. ...

    ... We also saw capybaras which are the largest rodents in the world... as our guide Luis said, "They are really big rats". That day I caught my first fish! It was a yellow piranha. There were really easy to catch actually, but after 3, I felt bad for them. We through them back in, because apparently it is not fishing season now. Luis used some of the piranhas to taunt the caimans.
