      ... the excellent "Hop on hop off" bus and circumnavigated the small city. The many sights included the magnificent Aukland Museum. It is an imposing building set on a prominent hill that can be seen from across the city. The local residential properties are usually made from a brick foundation upon which is built a wooden clapper board house usually pained in pastel colours.
