Sue

As we drove closer to San Marino, we all started saying, "Did she REALLY say "the NATION" of San Marino?? And that's exactly what it was: It's full title is "The Republic of San Marino". John will do doubt tell you of its history. It's set high on a mountain, with the most glorious view and was yet another treasure chest waiting to be opened for us! It was our nicest hotel by far - VERY upmarket! - and it was exciting to follow the ...
San Marino, San Marino, San Marino pollies... as each seat filled the novelty soon wore off. It became cramped and uncomfortable... both physically and socially. As soon as we got to Austria however, the stunning views of the huge, steaming mountain forests, and ice blue rivers took our minds off the traveling conditions. On several occasions we couldn't help but gasp and 'wow' at the surroundings (which I felt quite guilty for doing because there was a blind woman in our carriage).

Nevertheless, it is an understatement to ...

The beach is broken into sections each section has a restaurant, sporting stuff (basketball hoops, Volleyball, Gyms, etc.) lounge chairs and umbrellas. Some even have an outdoor gym. The beach is actually sand, which is a novelty for Italy. We picked up some of the free bikes from the hotel and rode all around the city. I stopped and had a quick swim, Outside of the fact both of our asses were completely numb and bruised afterwards (not the best bikes ...
Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy moore_mattj... Byzantine mozaics in the world, Ravenna is small, has free bike hire and a bike/pedestiran only town centre, and of the sites apart from one lie within a few hundred metres of one another. Another highlight - the place is free of the hoards of tourists we encountered everywhere else in Italy.

And the mosaics - my pictures don't do them any justice at all, you really must go for ...
Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy kristinb... As I went to the ground on my right shoulder, my left arm lingered in the air behind me, and got smacked. I got up to see Juliana our bus driving defensive end had rushed hard from the right side and dove for the block too. The problem is that you are only supposed to rush from one side otherwise you end up with a potentially injurious collision course and that’s what happened. Juliana is a very good defensive end with a high motor, and I’m sure he was ...
Milano Marittima, Emilia-Romagna, Italy mavsqb1... the start. It was every show, not just the odd one. They were truly amazing and probably the best we’ve had yet. I imagine the finale was what it must be like at a rock concert - they rushed down the front dancing and screaming...all for me of course...and the rush it gave was brilliant.

Thank you so much Forli..you were great!

But no photos...sorry!
Forli, Emilia-Romagna, Italy mamma-mia... the track prices were so high for the gear and we got it for joining the fan club. From here we went to the town of Rimini and tried to find the Italian National motorcycle Museum. The GPS had us in the area but we couldn’t find it , even asking around was fruitless so we drove around the local airport side road amongst farm houses and came upon it tucked up a side road with very little signage. The man was heading out for lunch but also told us ...
Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy kasnsqueak... to. By the way, the cost of living here is pretty similar as in Australia, even after you convert AUD to EURO. A coffee costs about $1.50 to $2.00. Groceries cost about the same. Public transport is cheaper and more frequent. Cars are cheaper to buy, the rent is about the same as in Melbourne and clothes are about the same. The main problem is that the coffee, food and clothes are all amazing and it is very hard not to spend too much shopping all the time. I've been very good though!
