    ... foolish for having brought a cookset this trip. But as it heats up, my pace slows, my fluid consumption goes way up, but if I'm careful it isn't too bad up to about 95. Tomorrow is forecast for over 100 and there is a 4000' climb at 50 miles, and after a previous 1000' bump.     A quick entry here from the real beaver country (sorry OSU fans) before an early start to get ahead of high temps. My path from West Yellowstone took me through Ennis, Dillon, Wisdom and to Missoula. The pic captions should catch those highlights. In Ennis I stayed behind the distillery with other cyclists.     ... can see the nesting birds and then they tell you about all the creatures. They are also there clearly to keep people from going where they would disturb the birds.

    The starfish have been affected by a disease and so there were not as many as normal, but it was still pretty impressive. Some of the mussels must have been close to 8" long - not something you see on the NJ Coast.
