    First thing walk to post office to pick up registered mail that should contain my South Africa proof of residency papers. The whole experience ran very well, I walked out with what I walked in for but the ID number I was after is not anywhere on paper which means more forms, time and money. Second thing go to town council to get permit to buy a car. First man informed me that I needed to go to another building a long way away to get my South African licence ...

    ... old high school club house which has an impressive view of Johannesburg's skyline. It is a restaurant & bar within the walls of a posh private school in the upscale Johannesburg neighborhood of Standton, called St. Stithians. All rather jolly hockey sticks and 'Hooray Henry'. We had a delicious meal and met Craig's sister and a friend before heading home for bed.     After a leisurely get up and breakfast and chat with Linda's kids Sharon and Stephen and husband Etienne, Linda and I set off for Waterkloof Primary school where she teaches to collect a data projector for my "show and tell" slideshow at Glenhaven old age home this afternoon.
