    2nd March - Waitomo are the famous glow work caves that everyone had heard about. Being the poor travellers we are, decided to drive past the caves and go to the free ones 25km further down the road. Marakopa waterfall was the first thing we came across. They were very impressive and the best of the waterfalls we have seen so far. Well worth going to if you are near Waitomo! The next stop was Piripiri Caves.
