    ... to the top left along the banks of the river. There was plenty of activity with joggers, cyclists and 4 man and. 8 man boats from the local boat club sculling up and down . The weather had been really kind to us, and with no wind the temperature was really warm as the sun set. We had a light sandwich.     ... to admire Yr Wyddfa Snowdon, a peak popular with hikers who can climb to its 3,559 foot summit in less than three hours. At least, that’s what one young woman told us as we gazed at the mountain from a parking spot across the valley. Alan said he’s done it several times, but it took him a bit longer than that.

    Back in Christmas Day 2013 we opened our present from all the staff at work and to our surprise a wine tasting experience for two !!! Nine months later and we chose from various locations around the country the vineyard just outside Shrewsbury in Shropshire for one reason, we had never been to this part of the UK before !!     ... as twin with single beds. Every hotel we have had our own beds with single doonas. Our tour guide has phoned ahead and tried to change our bookings but some of the hotels are booked out and can't make the change) and dinner was delicious. The only negative - only 30mins of free wifi. Bedtime now, not much to report besides the bus journey and shopping. yah we are no longer in Scotland - I can't wait for a good nights sleep.
